Triberg is located in the heart of the Black Forest and lies at an altitude of 700-1,000 metres. Here you find Germany’s highest waterfalls, which provide a spectacular sight. The 17th-century Baroque church "Maria in der Tann" is also well worth a visit, as is the town hall with its beautiful wooden hall. Marvel at the historic Black Forest farms within the Black Forest Museum, or visit the world’s largest cuckoo clock in the Eble Uhrenpark. A network of well-marked hiking trails invites you to go hiking, cycling or Nordic walking in the summer, and skiing or tobogganing in the winter. The beautiful city of Freiburg and the leisure park "Europa-Park Rust" can be reached by car from here in just one hour.
